
Born 1976, Brussels, Belgium. Ibe Ananaba is a multi-disciplinary visual storyteller who is always in search of discoveries while expanding creave boundaries. Listed in Smithsonian Institution Libraries Collection, he is a 1st Class (Distinction) Fine and Applied Art (Painting major) graduate of the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu, Nigeria. He is also an internaonal award-winning arst funconing as a Painter, Fashion Illustrator, Muralist, and Designer with over a decade of experience as an Art Director in advertising, with numerous solo and group exhibitions, locally and internationally. Crowned the prize winner of Art Masters, Art Vancouver 2019, his work focuses on a variety of issues that influence urban and contemporary living. With his art being used as case studies for a Project thesis by a variety of University scholars across Nigeria, his works are published in Masters of Watercolour (Planeta Muzyki Publishers, Finland, 2018), Fashion Illustration Africa – Shoko Press, London 2016), Artists of Nigeria (5 Continents Editions, Italy, 2021) among many others. Ibe recently exhibited at LE MARCHÉ INTERNATIONAL DE ARTS, 14th edition of Dakar Biennale, 2022.
